I was raised on the beach in, NC. by my parents, Janet and Jimmy. After high school, I went on to join the U.S. Army. I deployed during my career to Baghdad, Iraq where I worked with a team at the Ibn Sina Hospital. After 9 years of service, I chose to leave the service to be a stay at home parent to my niece, nephew and daughter. I got married the same year and 3 years later in 2015, we were blessed with twins. After their birth is when I really dove into photography.
With over 5 years of professional photography experience, families and children are what I LOVE to capture. I love to see those authentic moments between siblings, and between a parent and their child. I want to capture that unconditional love that is shared. When I am capturing a set of a child’s portraits I want to capture those moments, those expressions and emotions that a parent will want to treasure for a lifetime.
I have also fallen in love with photographing animals both pets and farm life. Living in Oklahoma, I have fallen in love with the farm land and respect what our farmers do and how hard they work.
